Photos used in the Pattern Maker

Photos you upload to the Pattern Maker are processed only in your browser and are never sent to our servers. The patterns you make are saved in your browser (local storage).

AI illustration

Only when you press “Turn into an illustration with AI” in the Pattern Maker is the cropped image sent to the image generation service of Cloudflare, Inc. (Workers AI) for conversion. We store neither the image sent nor the converted image. To manage usage limits, we record your IP address for 7 days in a form from which the address cannot be recovered (a hash).

Extra AI illustration uses (email address)

The email address you enter to get extra uses is used only to send the confirmation email and to manage your uses, and is deleted after 30 days. Only if you check the box to receive news and open the link in the confirmation email will we send you news about new patterns and offers (to unsubscribe, contact sales@mamepix.com or reply to a news email; we delete your email address once you unsubscribe).

Information we receive when you order

We use your name, address, phone number, email address and order details to ship your order and to answer your inquiries. Payment details are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we never hold your card number.

Customer survey

Answers to the survey linked from the shipping notification email (satisfaction, comments and so on) are stored with your order number and used only to improve our products and service. Answering is optional.

Photos for Made to Order

Photos you send us for a Made to Order piece are used only to make the piece and to answer your inquiries, and are deleted automatically 90 days after shipping. Photos for orders that did not proceed to payment are deleted after 2 days.

Analytics

To improve our service, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and similar figures. It uses no cookies and collects no personally identifiable information.

We also count, per day, how many times actions such as “made a pattern” or “added to cart” happen (counts only). So that the same person is not counted twice, we keep a value derived from your network that cannot be reversed (a hash) for 2 days only, then delete it. Which site or ad you came from (a tag on the ad link, or the kind of referrer such as a search engine or social network) is kept in your browser for 30 days, and when you order it is recorded with the order only for these counts.
