FAQ
What is the difference between 2.6 mm and 5 mm beads?
2.6 mm beads are the small "mini" beads. A piece of the same size can show much finer detail, so they are great for pet faces, character illustrations and other detailed designs.
Is my photo stored anywhere?
The Pattern Maker processes your photo only in your browser and never uploads it (except when you use “Turn into an illustration with AI”, which sends it for conversion without storing it). We keep your photo only for Made to Order, to make your piece, and delete it 90 days after shipping.
Which beads can I use?
Our color codes match MARD 2.6 mm beads. Kits use the 221 standard colors, and in the Pattern Maker you can also choose from all 291 colors.
Do I need an iron?
Yes, a regular household iron. Ironing paper is included in the kit.
Can children make these?
Contains small parts, so it is for ages 6 and up. Keep out of reach of small children.
