No sound, 22 seconds. The pen in the video has a tinted body; the one we ship is clear.
How to use
- Take off the round bottle on top and fill it with one color (up to about 600 beads).
- Put the bottle back, point the tip down and shake side to side. Beads drop into the tube inside (up to 24 at a time). Shaking up and down does not load it.
- Lower the tip onto a peg of the pegboard to place one bead.
- To change color, swap in a spare bottle filled with another color.
Pen or tweezers?
Use the pen for backgrounds, outlines and large areas of one color, and tweezers for single-bead details like eyes or where colors change often. Splitting the work this way speeds things up. The more beads of one color a pattern has, the more the pen helps.

How many beads does it hold?
About 600 beads per bottle. With the 2 spare bottles you can keep 3 colors ready.
Beads do not go into the tube when I shake it.
Shake it side to side. Shaking up and down does not load the tube.
What age is it for?
It uses small parts and beads, so it is for ages 6 and up.
Which beads does it work with?
Only 2.6 mm fuse beads (5 mm beads do not fit the tube), including mamepix single-color beads, Custom Kits and the Starter Set.
