Pattern tips: Dinosaurs
- Color the body in a dark and a light shade of green or brown for a rugged look.
- A single black bead for the eye keeps the face clear even on a small pattern.
- To make your dinosaur another color, open it in the Pattern Maker and swap the colors.
FAQ
Are there small dinosaur patterns?
The mini dinosaur is 13 by 11 beads (62 in all) and the mini Tyrannosaurus is 12 by 12 (84 beads): about 3 to 3.4 cm with 2.6 mm beads, a good size for a keychain or a magnet.
Can I make them with 5 mm beads?
Yes. The patterns are grids, so with 5 mm beads they come out about twice the size: a pattern 20 beads wide is about 10 cm.
