Storing and caring for fuse bead art, and organizing your beads
Fuse bead pieces don't like heat or direct sunlight, so store them flat somewhere cool and shady. Sort your beads into cases labeled by color code and they'll be ready for your next pattern.
Storing your pieces
- Keep them away from hot places like direct sunlight or a parked car (they can warp or fade)
- Store large pieces flat rather than propped up
- For display, a frame keeps dust off and helps prevent warping
Cleaning
If a piece gets dirty, wipe it gently with a cloth dampened with water and wrung out well. Don't use boiling water, a dishwasher, or solvents such as alcohol.
Organizing your beads
- Use a divided case and label each compartment with its color code
- Arrange them in color code order (A, B, C… series) so it's easy to check them against a pattern's materials list
- Top up colors that are running low with single-color beads (1,000 beads per pack)

Is it OK if fuse bead art gets wet?
Water won't melt it. Wipe off dirt with a well-wrung cloth and let it dry thoroughly. Boiling water can make it warp.
